St. Paul

Christ is our Life - Christ is our Light. With him showing us the way, we are all walking on the path that He designated for us - Come to our Church - Join our Community - we will welcome you with open arms.

Social Justice

Sharing Parish

The sharing parish ministry collects and delivers food and clothing to Community Social Service of Waukegan. The food is distributed to families in need and to support a child day care center during the summer months. Monetary donations are used by the food pantry to purchase additional food and to support the operating expenses of the food and clothing pantry. Monetary contributions are also used to pay for scholarships at North Shore Catholic Academy. Collections take place on the 1st Sunday of the month. Please place your food & clothing donations in the back of the gathering space.

Meals and Services that Heal

Volunteers cook, deliver food, and shop for homebound and those who are temporally disabled. Volunteers are always welcome to help spread God’s Love.

Ministers of Care

Join us to bring the Eucharist to the homebound and to Libertyville Manor and Sunrise Manor nursing homes. We meet on Tuesdays and/or Wednesday mornings to bring communion and friendship to those in need.

Respect for Life

Respect for life is an advocate and source for pro-life issues to groups and individuals within our parish. We have kept our activities associated with unwed pregnancy issues, abortion, Mother’s Day celebrations and prayer vigils.

Bereavement

The role of the Bereavement Minister is to offer support and comfort to grieving families, assist them in the planning of the funeral liturgy and to be a comforting presence in their time of need.

Funeral Luncheon

Luncheon service is provided for grieving families after the funeral service. Volunteers of the parish donate salads and deserts.

If you are in need of our services or interested in volunteering. Please see the church bulletin for contact information.
