Parish Sharing

St. Paul the Apostle has instituted a sharing program where we have begun to reach out to people who are not as well off as we are. The two main groups that we help are Holy Family's Food Pantry and LakeShore Catholic Academy. We take up a collection on the first weekend of every month here at the parish. The parishioners continue to be extremely generous in donating canned goods, cereals, other non perishable food items and money. These donations are taken to the food pantry in Waukegan. and sent to Lakeshore Catholic A group of 6-10 families work to transport the food from our church to the food pantry. This has been a service project that has involved our youngsters and adults.
